1) Muir Woods Action, Monday, July 4, 2016, 8 am - 6 pm, Muir Woods
(Dana has successfully organized this outreach event for years. The Park Service responded to his free speech application with- "Love the elephant!!! Will get you a permit ASAP. Make sure the elephant doesn't blow away.")
Dana writes-
 To all of you:
Thanks for your support and your interest in showing up. We have on the permit application that we start set-up at 0700 and actual "First Amendment Activities" start at 0800; breakdown at 1800. As far as I'm concerned, anyone and everyone is welcome. However, I don't want too many people manning the tables at the same time; others should pose as visitors to the tables. Muir Woods and its surrounding jurisdictions (Mt. Tamalpais State Park, Marin Municipal Water Department, GGNRA, etc.) are great places for hiking, relaxing etc. Those who do show up should spend at least part of the time enjoying the Park. For those interested in hiking into the Park from above, that is easy. There is plenty of free parking along Panorama Road, but it's a two mile hike from there to the First Amendment Area. On the other hand, there is very limited parking close to the FAA; only the permit signatures can park free, and that parking gets real crowded real fast.
There is a whole suite of Rules regarding use of the First Amendment Area, and my relationship with the NPS has been very good; I want to keep it that way. Anyone who wants to be part of it should read those rules and be mindful of them. The NPS once told me: "You folks did great; we only had 25 complaints!!!" We want to make sure none of the inevitable complaints are legitimate.
My own policy, which has worked HELLA well, is to remain completely silent, offering no encouragement to anyone who shows up as a visitor. I have found that people will often hang around reading our posters and pamphlets, but will disappear immediately if approached. I always wait for THEM to start any conversation, and I usually don't have to wait very long. If someone is looking but not saying anything, LET THEM LOOK.
All that said, for those who do show up, you should have a very enjoyable July 4, especially if the weather cooperates.
Thanks again; I look forward to seeing some of you Monday.

3) 9/11 and Our Political Crisis with Christopher Bollyn
Wednesday, July 20, 2016 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
San Francisco Public Library, Richmond Branch
351 9th AvenueSan Francisco, CA
Christopher Bollyn is an investigative journalist and author of "Solving 9/11- The Deception that Changed the World"
The short title of my upcoming speaking tour is "9/11 and Our Political Crisis."A longer and more descriptive title would be something like: "Our Political Crisis: Ending the Twin Deceptions of 9/11 and the Fraudulent War on Terror."The word crisis comes from the Greek word for decision: krisis, which is why the word means the decisive point of a catastrophe or emergency when a difficult decision must be made. Crisis also means the turning point of a disease when an important change takes place, indicating either recovery or death.
The political crisis that Americans are facing is not simply the
presidential election of 2016, but the fact that our nation is at a
turning point where an important decision must be made concerning the
fate of our American republic. As citizens, we must demand that the
candidates address the critical decision to end the fraudulent
military campaign known as the global “War on Terror”.
The “War on Terror” is now in its 15th year having been initiated by
President George W. Bush in 2001 and continued by Barack Obama since
2009. The next president will have to decide to either continue this
extremely costly and disastrous war policy or to pull back from the
“War on Terror” and stop waging criminal wars in places that have
nothing to do with our national interest.
