Historic 9/11 Conference, Sept. 14-15 in Washington, DC

On this upcoming 12th anniversary of 9/11, "The New Pearl Harbor",
many of the most steadfast activists and brilliant researchers will
gather in the Washington, DC area on September 14th and 15th to
present some of their findings and discuss the state of the 9/11
Movement and plans for the future. The location of the conference is
in the Sheraton Hotel, Pentagon City, VA, that actually overlooks the
iconic west facade of the Pentagon, a fitting venue for our work.
The Conference Committee is appealing to all for your support in this
endeavor. We hope you and others in your network can attend. A
reduced Early Bird registration rate of $75 per day is available
through August 11, and rooms at the Sheraton are only $89 per night,
plus taxes. Donations in lieu of attendance would also be most welcome.

Conspiracy to Murder John F. Kennedy, Mary Pinchot Meyer, and Their
Vision for World Peace
(Peter Janney, Ph.D.)
Peter Janney grew up in Washington, D.C. during the Cold War era of
the 1950s and 1960s. His father Wistar Janney was a senior career CIA
official. The Janney family was intimately involved with many of
Washington's social and political elite that included the family of
Mary and Cord Meyer, as well as other high-ranking CIA officials such
as Richard Helms, Jim Angleton, Tracy Barnes, Desmond FitzGerald, and
William Colby.
A graduate of Princeton, where he studied American history under
Professor Martin Duberman, Janney earned a doctoral degree in
psychology at Boston University in 1981. He has been a practicing
psychologist and consultant for over 30 years. In 2002, he completed
an MBA degree at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Mary's

currently resides by the sea in Beverly, Massachusetts.

(Mark H. Gaffney)
Mark H. Gaffney is an environmentalist, peace activist, and
researcher-writer. Over the years, Mark's articles and essays have
appeared in numerous journals, magazines, newspapers, and widely on
the Internet. He is the author of five books including The 9/11
Mystery Plane and the Vanishing of America.
Mark's first book, Dimona the Third Temple? (1989), was a pioneering
study of the Israeli nuclear weapons program. The book told the
remarkable story of Mordechai Vanunu, the Israeli nuclear technician
who endured a fate worse than death: the hellish ordeal of 18 years
in an Israeli prison, eleven and a half of them in solitary confinement.
He joins us to talk about his latest book, Black 9/11: Money, Motive

Webster Griffin Tarpley (Pittsfield, Massachusetts, 1946) is a
philosopher of history who seeks to provide the programs and
strategies needed to overcome the current world crisis. As an
activist historian he first became widely known for his book George
Bush: The Unauthorized Biography (1992), a masterpiece of research
which is still a must read. AB Princeton 1966, summa cum laude and
Phi Beta Kappa; Fulbright Scholar at University of Turin, Italy; MA
in humanities from Skidmore College; and Ph.D. in early modern
history from the Catholic University of America with emphasis on the
role of Venice in the origins of the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648).
He has addressed audiences in Italian, German, and French. A
decades-long expert on international terrorism, his 1978 study
commissioned by an Italian government minister and entitled "Chi ha
ucciso Aldo Moro?" (Who Killed Aldo Moro?) broke open the ownership
of the Red Brigades by NATO's clandestine networks.

1993-1999 (Edwin Mellen Press, 1999); co-author of America's
Nightmare: The Presidency of George Bush II (Dandelion, 2003); author
of Jaded Tasks: Big Oil, and Black Ops & Brass Plates; Overthrow a
Fascist Regime on $15 a Day.
Madsen is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ)

This action falls three days before the one-year
anniversary of the Chevron refinery’s most recent
explosion and fire. The community is joining together to call for:
NO more toxic hazards.
NO Keystone XL tar sands pipeline.
NO refining tar sands or fracked crude.
YES to a just transition from dirty fossil fuels to union jobs in clean energy!
Which is something we can all agree on...
On August 5th there will be a camping trip, prior
to the action on August 6th at Livermore which
Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance is

lost his "cool" when he tried to intellectually bully RT Interviewer Oksana
Boyco. On KPFA on July 16 Kaku has no *no informed questions for Shermer to
debunk! Does Kaku not owe Dr Steven Jones an opportunity to discuss his
scientific "Hypothesis", research, and evidence on the show which allowed
him to be ridiculed? Kaku has put his scientific reputation on the line by
