Source Code
https://youtu.be/DrGAbgNrQ0s
----
Sci-fi thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal and
Michelle Monaghan. A man wakes up on a train but
is confused as to who he is and how he got there.
After talking to Christina - the woman sat
opposite him - for eight minutes a bomb explodes
and the man finds himself encased in a dome. He is
told by Air Force Captain Colleen Goodwin that his
name is Colter Stevens and he is an army pilot
engaged in a mission to find out who planted the
bomb on the train. This is done using the Source
Code, a time travelling system which lets him
assume somebody's identity during their final
eight minutes. Stevens is sent back into the
Source Code a number of times, but fails to
identify the culprit. As he talks more with
Christina each time he begins to develop feelings
for her and resolves to save her life, despite his
army bosses telling him he cannot change what will
happen. He finds out that he actually died two
months ago, and the army took his body to use for
the Source Code project. He asks that they let him
die once he has completed the mission and they
agree. He finally finds the culprit, and persuades
Goodwin to let him back into the Source Code in a
final attempt to stop the bomb going off. Can he
save Christina and the other passengers from the
seemingly inevitable?
