STARBUCKS BY FAR WORST ABUSER of
FAILURE TO SEPARATE TRASH GREEN WASTE RECYCLE

Safeway Sharon Heights is good about sorting their trash from recycling from green waste 98%-99% re: 1980 1990 2000 2010 2020 decade

Safeway El Camino Menlo Park is perhaps good
95% but not stellar. Re 2000 2010 2020 decade
I spoke to a female BFI analyst investigator here and appraised her of my data
Later 2010 decade
though I do not feel I was well received and I do not feel BFI places this as a high priority. I suspect this is because China no longer respects or receive any of our recycling plastic as we are too dirty so their hands are tied.

I suspect BFI and other entities within refuse industry do not care much about plastics and green waste because they just feed it all to the pigs hogs anyway and there is insufficient public awareness of this BPA BPS PFOA PFOAS plastic input into our PORQUINE food stream

Safeway Middlefield at Colorado Palo Alto is poor <90%

Safeway Sequoia Station Redwood City may be OK not sure lack data re 2010 decade

Safeway San Antonio Rd. at El Camino Mountain View insufficient data but seems orderly above 95% proper separation re: 2023

Whole Foods El Camino Roosevelt Redwood City May be ok re: 2000 2010 decades

Whole Foods Homer at Emerson Palo Alto OK ish to pretty good 98% re 2010 2020 decades

Trader Joe's middle Avenue Menlo Park ok ish
Re: 1990 2000 2010 decades

Trader Joe's Town & Country Village Palo Alto Excellent 99% re: 2010 2020 decades

Trader Joe's San Antonio Rd. at El Camino Mountain View pretty good 98-99% ? Re 2023

Starbucks Sharon Heights
325 Sharon Park Drive Menlo Park
 is Dismal about separation 90%
Re: 2010 2020 decades

Starbucks Alameda at Ave Ave. Menlo Park is poor about separation re: 2010 2020 decades

Starbucks at numerous locations in nine SF Bay Area CA counties I have absorbed have been poor at 90% proper separation re: 2010 2020 decades

Starbucks routinely is a magnitude of order worse than any grocery chain in SF Bay Area CA
re: separation of refuse recycling green waste

This is a 40 year study

Coulda Woulda Shoulda
Could I would should've posted these results on dumpster.org but I let go that domain sadly

Although I was posting a dumpster report on craigslist in the late 1990s early 2000s covering primarily San Francisco districts of
FiDi
SOMA
MISSION
Though occasionally reporting on
North beach
Castro
Sunset
Richmond
.com crash ended my reports as riches waned

Specifically craigslist staff were most excellent at offering me foundation help acquiring an Apple Mac power book pre MacBook via a grant as well as technical help operating dumpster.org dumpster report while I owned that domain.
However the.com crash snuffed out this vision

Safeway Mill Valley CA
1 Camino Alto, Mill Valley, CA 94941
Difficult To analyze due to trash compactor Re: 1990 2000 2010 decades

Safeway El Camino Menlo Park Ca 94025
Difficult to analyze as of May 12, 1992 due to installation of trash compactor after years of Safeway lobbying of Menlo Park city Council when finally approved by a Menlo Park city council woman who took discussed at seeing a homeless person dumpster diving, where after Safeway previous location adjacent to middle Avenue was allowed to extend their cinderblock brick wall out to the sidewalk destroying hedges shrubs and bushes allowing increased space for trash compactor in addition to two doors for semi tractor-trailer trucks to back into. This was when Safeway was adjacent to Middle Ave., Payless was west of Safeway closer to Santa Cruz Ave., with smooth concrete excellent mirror finish roller blading rollerskating floor in basement park if garage below complete with walkway and elevator, before demolition

Destroyed green coated metro shelf WITH SAW then tossed into non-recycling dumpster Mid 2010 decade.
SAME DESTRUCTION Whole Foods Palo Alto into both Trash Refuse and green waste dumpster when should have placed in blue recycle dumpster but did not re: 2020 decade.
In both cases a metro shelf could be donated to nonprofits and or a 501 C 3 NGO

SAFEWAY SHARON HEIGHTS Menlo Park FOR EXAMPLE WOULD SET THESE NSF or Metro shelves ASIDE NOT IN DUMPSTER WHEREBY STORE COULD REUSE AS NEEDED AND OR APPROPRIATE VENDORS COULD ADOPT OR PICK UP. IN THIS WAY SAFEWAY WAS LESS WASTEFUL. oops sorry caps lock
